As I am only just starting of in the industry the only clients would be family and friends A database would be held on-line on an excel page which would hold a table of names of clients or contacts which would look like this;
This shows columns of clients of companies/agents which work can be found from with contact info of address, phone number and what the company name is for and what it is. This is a different use of a database made of an alphabetical search option above if the client or agent base was large, not for a small business.
Being kept on a computer system can cause problems if the system breaks. So it should be backed up on a USB and also in a address book as loosing clients and contacts.
I made a database using excel showing mostly some people I have worked with and models that have or would model. The email and numbers are fake for data protection.
This shows how a small organised business would look like this but a bit bigger. If it was a bigger business then the pages of contacts would be active for finding out contacts for the different types of information. The details would be on separate pages e.g- Photographers, Agents Then Models/Clients.
